Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a licensed clinician for the Eastern Shore residential program. You will facilitate group therapy, provide psychoeducation, and support clients in developing coping skills within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in psychology or counseling, state licensure to practice (e.g., ADT), substance abuse experience; Master's preferred. You will maintain documentation and ensure confidentiality in a compassionate recovery-focused environment.

• Valid state licensure/certification to practice in this role, i.e. ADT
• Substance abuse experience required
• Excellent observational, collaborative and interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to set strong boundaries and maintain absolute confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups designed to meet each client's challenges and needs
