Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a licensed clinician to join its Eastern Shore residential program, providing group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups to support clients in detox and rehab pathways.

You will document sessions, coordinate with clinical staff, and escalate concerns to the Clinical Director while maintaining strict confidentiality and professional boundaries. A bachelor's is required; master's preferred; licensure required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling or related field is required; Master's degree preferred.
• Valid state licensure/certification to practice in this role, e.g. ADT
• Substance abuse experience required
• Excellent observational, collaborative and interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Compassionate, dignified character modeling recovery principles
• Ability to set strong boundaries and maintain absolute confidentiality

Responsibilities
