Job summary

Endeavor Health in Chicago is seeking a Group Aquatic Instructor for Galter Life Center. The role is part-time, with weekday and weekend hours, designing engaging lessons and guiding swimmers of all ages.

The ideal candidate has a swimming background, enjoys teaching, and can obtain WSI certification within 90 days. CPR/AED is required or obtained soon after hire, with opportunities for career growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED certification required or obtained within 90 days.
• WSI certification to be completed within 90 days of employment.
• Previous swimming background and group instruction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate professionalism with LifeCenter members, guests and staff.
• Create a fun, healthy learning environment and tailor lesson plans.
• Motivate clients and acknowledge pupil accomplishments.
• Provide drills and skills for independent practice and growth.
