Job description

Various shifts available: Mon and Wed from 4:30-7pm, and Sat from 9am-12pm.

Hourly rate: $15.75 - $23.63.

On Call Required: No.

Essential functions and responsibilities

• Teach swimming techniques, strokes, and water safety rules to students with varying abilities.
• Assist experienced swimmers in improving their skills.
• Assess student progress and modify teaching plans accordingly.
• Monitor students to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the swimming pool area.
• Provide coverage as a pool attendant or lifeguard as needed.

Job requirements

• Current CPR/AED Certification required.
• Red Cross Aquatics Safety Training or Lifeguard Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred: Current Lifeguard Certification.
• Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety rules.
