Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$29.02 - $43.53 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Adult Aqua - Group Instructor
  • Location: Endeavor Health Fitness & Wellness Center - Seven Bridges, Woodridge, IL
  • Per Diem | Hours are determined by Department Needs
  • Hours: Classes are scheduled between 8:30am - 8pm, may sub weekends as needed, and can volunteer to teach class on holidays

What you will do:

  • Under minimal supervision, prepares and leads all levels of exercise classes designed to improve cardiovascular endurance, develop and improve muscle tone and improve the ability to perform activities of daily living. In doing so, designs the class routines, selects appropriate music, instructs participants in proper form and techniques, and modifies class intensity and/or routine in order to address the needs of the healthy and/or special population participants.

What you will need:

  • Education: a minimum of 2 years of high school level of education or higher, required
  • Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross required within 90 days of employment, required
  • Aquatic Instructors must obtain ACE or AEA certification within first 6 month of employment, required. Aerobics Instructors must obtain ACE certification within first 6 months of employment, required
  • Special Population Instructors must obtain certification from a nationally recognized accrediting body acknowledged by EHFC or complete an in-house training program within first 5 months of employment, required
