Job summary

Sierra Sage Treatment Center in Nevada is seeking a Group Supervisor to oversee the implementation of programing and supervision of Youth Counselors and staff, ensuring safety and continuous care for residents.

You will lead day-to-day operations, coordinate shifts, and uphold compliance, providing a supportive environment while pursuing opportunities for professional growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Internal applicants must have 1 year of Direct Care experience.
• Must have completed Youth Care 101 and ROP Essentials Subjects Training in Operations, Treatment and Human Resources.
• External candidates must have 1 year of prior experience working with at-risk youth and complete Youth Care 101 Training with Operations, Treatment and HR Essentials within 3 months of placement.
• Able to pass background checks, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
• Able to pass the state child abuse central registry check.

Responsibilities

• Implement operational programming and supervise assigned staff to ensure safety and around-the-clock supervision of students in the program.

Sierra Sage Treatment Center offers residential treatment for young women in a safe, supportive, nurturing environment. Through accredited education, vocational training and a normalized high school experience, our youth women are given the skills they need to overcome the effects of abuse, neglect, trauma substance abuse, mental illness and violence so they can make healthy choices for themselves and their futures.

Pay : Starting at $58,656 per year.

What you will do:

As the Group Supervisor you will be responsible for the implementation of operational programing and supervision of assigned staff such as Youth Counselors, Night Youth Counselors, etc. to ensure the safety, care, and around-the-clock supervision of students in the program.

To be considered you should:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Internal applicants must possess 1-year Direct Care experience
• Must have completed Youth Care 101 and ROP Essential Subjects Training in Operations, Treatment and Human Resources
• External candidates must have 1-year prior experience working with at-risk youth. Must complete Youth Care 101 Training as well as Operations, Treatment, and Human Resources Essentials Subjects Training within three months of placement in this position
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
• Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry .

Schedule:

3.5/3.5

Day Shift

• A Shift – Sunday/Monday/Tuesday ~ 10am – 10pm and Wednesday 10am to 5:30pm
• B shift – Thursday/Friday/Saturday ~ 10am – 10pm and Wednesday 2:30pm to 10pm
