Job summary

CFGC Balboa facility in Northridge seeks a Group Services Coordinator to support the Case Flow Coordinator, supervise the Group Services Case Manager and Group Facilitators, and oversee group development and curriculums.

The role involves identifying community needs for groups, coordinating with providers, and ensuring DMH-compliant documentation and billing. Some evening hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Experience commensurate with duties.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.
• Licensed or license-eligible clinician; able to register with the appropriate board.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals for group services with Case Flow and Admissions.
• Supervise new groups as needed and assigned.
• Provide weekly individual clinical and administrative supervision to Group Services Case Managers.
• Identify needs for specific groups based on referrals.
• Collaborate with clinical management to assign staff to run groups.
• Prepare notes and billing using DMH standards.
• Assist in orienting new staff.
• Hours: 40 hours per week; some evenings may be required.
