Job summary

Child and Family Guidance Center (CFGC) is seeking a Group Services Coordinator for our Balboa facility in Northridge. You will assist the Case Flow Coordinator in developing access to care for families and supervise Group Services Case Managers and Facilitators. Some evenings may be required.

The role entails organizing groups, identifying providers, and managing curriculums while ensuring DMH-compliant documentation and billing practices.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based child and family clinical interventions.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and complete projects/reports timely.
• Ph.D., Psy.D., MSW, or MA/MS with marriage & family therapy emphasis; license-eligible.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate identification of referrals for group services with Case Flow and Admissions teams.
• Supervise new groups and provide weekly clinical and administrative supervision to Group Services staff.
• Identify needs for specific groups based on referrals and collaborate to assign staff.
• Support documentation to prepare notes and billing following DMH standards.
• Assist in staff orientation and ensure 40 hours per week, Mon–Fri, with possible evenings.
