Job summary

Child and Family Guidance Center (CFGC) seeks a full-time Clinical Psychologist for our Balboa site in Northridge. You will provide mental health services to children and adolescents within a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers.

The role involves assessments, individual/family/group therapy, treatment planning, field-based services, and crisis support. A bilingual English/Spanish option is preferred; licensure eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology and licensure eligibility.
• Experience conducting psychological testing with children/adolescents.
• Ability to work with traumatized populations and diverse families.
• Collaborative work within a multidisciplinary team; able to work independently with supervision as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and testing with assigned caseload.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy.
• Provide intake assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
• Offer field-based services at homes or community locations as needed.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans and progress.
• Manage crises and participate in on-call rotations.
• Engage caregivers through collateral sessions and family therapy.
• Meet billable-hour expectations and complete documentation on time.
