This is a full-time position located in the Sales Department at The Guest House at Graceland with variable/flexible working hours to include weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. Benefits will be offered after successful completion of a sixty (60) day introductory period. This is a promotional opportunity and is an internal/external recruitment.
Job Description:
This position is responsible for the overall sales for The Guest House at Graceland and Elvis Presley Memphis Complex, which includes 450 sleeping rooms and 80,000 square feet of flexible meeting/event space. The role involves managing the facility's sales efforts, developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and meeting sales strategies to maximize profits while ensuring customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Negotiate and contract with groups to maximize event space usage, ensuring revenue generation and achievement of departmental goals. Prospect for new clients and events continuously.
Drive Customer Satisfaction
Regularly review and measure customer service through direct contact and monitoring repeat business. Enhance customer satisfaction by collaborating with Preferred Vendors and the Event Manager to meet or exceed customer expectations. Manage customer relationships daily.

Qualification Standards:
Education: High school or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: Prior sales and hospitality experience required; knowledge of Memphis market preferred.
Licenses or Certificates: Not applicable.
Grooming: Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per company standards.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stoop, reach, walk, and stand for long periods; clear speaking voice essential; ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT: Work in a non-smoking area; work extra hours including weekends and holidays; maintain confidentiality; work outdoors in all weather conditions.
