Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Product Manager in Mountain View, CA to guide products from conception to launch, connecting engineering and business teams to deliver scalable AI-enabled search solutions. You will work with researchers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and prioritize features for billions of users worldwide.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in product management or related roles, 5+ years launching technical products, and experience integrating AI tools into workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
• 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
• Experience integrating generative artificial intelligence tools or large language model interfaces into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Research, Search Quality, and cross-functional teams to define product strategy for key modeling capabilities and quality improvements that unlock new use cases for AI answers.
• Own product requirement documents by overseeing collaboration with engineers, program managers, and UX professionals during product design.
• Drive the development of bringing best of the web to AI experience quality.
• Understand the Generative AI and Search product landscape to navigate the complexities of building Generative AI products for billions of users.

• Partner closely with Research, Search Quality, and cross-functional teams to define product strategy for key modeling capabilities and quality improvements that unlock new, more complex use cases for Artificial Intelligence answers.
• Assume ownership of model output and response evaluation and analysis to identify patterns, using them along with the latest user research insights to inform product quality efforts and prioritization.
• Understand the Generative Artificial Intelligence and Search product landscape to navigate the complexities associated with building Generative Artificial Intelligence products for billions of users.
• Drive the development of bringing best of the web to Artificial Intelligence Experience quality.
• Own product requirement documents by overseeing collaboration with partner teams, including engineers, Program Managers, and User Experience professionals during product design.
