Job summary

Google Search is seeking a product manager to guide GenAI-enabled search experiences from ideation to launch. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, UX, and research to translate complex AI capabilities into user-friendly solutions.

You will evaluate models, run experiments, and shape product strategy across languages and regions, helping billions of users access information more effectively with trusted AI.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
• Experience with GenAI model training or quality experience.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
• 2 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
• 2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
• 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
• 1 year of experience in software development or engineering.
• Experience with GenAI Consumer facing products.

US: $138000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

• Understand engaged GenAI + Search product landscape.
• Work closely across Search Intelligence, GDM/Research and cross-functional (XFN) teams to define product strategy for key modeling capabilities and quality improvements that drive more helpful conversational experiences and unlock new use cases.
• Own model evaluations, live experiments and user feedback analysis to identify win/loss patterns, and use them along with latest user research insights to inform product quality efforts.
