Job summary

IonQ, Inc. in Bothell, WA is seeking a Group Product Manager for Quantum Networking and Devices. You will own the full-stack product strategy, coordinating hardware and software to enable entanglement generation, repeaters integration, and control planes across a multi-node network.

You’ll lead a cross-functional team, translate physics capabilities into product specs, and drive developer-facing experiences that boost adoption of IonQ’s quantum networking cloud and APIs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management for technical hardware-adjacent or research-driven products.
• Bachelor's degree in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Working fluency in quantum optics and/or photonics to engage with engineers and researchers.
• Strong grounding in classical networking—protocols, architecture, control planes, latency, reliability.
• Demonstrated SaaS product experience shipping cloud or API products at scale.
• Track record of leading complex, cross-functional programs without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year product roadmap for quantum networking and devices.
• Drive business growth by identifying market opportunities and aligning strategy with customer needs.
• Lead cross-functional execution across hardware, software, research, and go-to-market teams.
• Shape IonQ's cloud and SaaS surface by defining API-based networking experiences for developers.
• Serve as product authority to customers and partners, translating input into validated requirements.
• Contribute to budgeting and present progress to executives and stakeholders.
• Set methodologies for evaluating networking and devices investments.
