Job summary

Uplight is seeking a Group Product Manager for Data Platform to own and evolve our data platform as a foundational capability across the product portfolio. You will report to the VP of Product, lead a team of product managers, and partner with Engineering, Data Science, and product peers to ensure scalable, trusted data enables analytics, APIs, and data-driven features.

You will balance foundational platform investments with near-term product needs, drive roadmaps, and measure adoption,

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of Product Management experience.
• Hands-on technical background or close partnership with engineering/data teams.
• Experience with data platforms, ingestion systems, analytics/BI, governance, ML enablement, and developer tooling; Databricks or similar is a plus.
• Track record delivering complex platform initiatives across multiple products/teams/customers.
• Strong communication skills in fast-moving environments.
• Experience in energy, SaaS, data, or adjacent tech domains preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own Data Platform end-to-end, including strategy, roadmap, and outcomes.
• Lead a team of product managers and balance strategic with hands-on delivery.
• Partner with Engineering, Data Science, and GTM teams to translate platform strategy into value.
• Define KPIs for adoption, reliability, data quality, and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure platform investments translate to customer impact.
