Job Summary:

The Group Product Manager is a strategic product leader and execution expert who plans, coordinates, and oversees the development of new products, enhancements of existing products, and customer solutions based on market and business needs. This person sets and drives a core product/platform as well as oversees that group of products/platforms vision, strategy, and execution working with cross-functional teams to significantly improve those products/platforms, implement marketing, sales and support strategies, and launch and maintain best-in-class solutions and to improve the success of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns and manages assigned product group P/L and the product lifecycles to drive and deliver expected YOY KPI growth, owning the product health and performance.
  • Leads and influences cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive organizational-wide initiatives to drive outcomes and impacts around that product group vision, strategy, and execution.
  • Aligns product vision with company goals and market trends to drive the right outcomes
  • Interfaces with customers to determine opportunities for product improvement and translate complex needs into product requirements
  • Determines competitive differentiation though through market and competitive research initiatives as well as VOC
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to define, design, develop, and deliver new products, technical solutions, and enhancements that work cohesively and meet the needs of the company, its clients, and the end users.
  • Player/Coach, Strategic/Tactical, this person will need to be able to be both a strategic product manager and leader as well as play the role of execution focused product owner with the teams, from Strategy to Story.
  • Set clear priorities in the product roadmap and backlog with both near and long-term goals
  • Coordinate GTM, marketing and sales campaigns/activities with product marketing managers
  • Coach product managers and help guide the product operating model
  • Coaches sales team and customer service representatives on all technical information and knowledge necessary to communicate with customers.
  • Contributes to product training and presentations
  • Develops and maintains product documentation, product instructions, and user guides, product metrics and sales and marketing content strategy
  • Responsible for stakeholder and key customer engagement and management May provide direct customer support in escalated cases as needed

Qualifications/Skills:
  • 8+ years experience as a Software Sr or higher-level Product Manager
  • 5+ years experience as a B2B SaaS Product Manager a plus
  • Pragmatic Institute and CSPO certifications a plus
  • Healthcare industry and knowledge of medical coding, billing, and revenue cycle management a plus
  • Extensive experience with SDLC/software development (preferably using Agile methodologies)
  • Applied knowledge or experience in enterprise product GTM sales, support, success, and account management
  • Excellent B2C and B2B expertise
  • Strong experience managing all aspects of a product lifecycle, from financial planning, forecasting, product development and maintenance, marketing and sales, and support
  • Strong leadership and communication, providing direction to individuals and responsible for leadership through influence vs direct reports.
  • Ability to manage organizational-wide business focus, manage culture that aligns with AAPC’s values, encourage strong work ethic, and foster an environment of trust and respect
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer centric
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including group facilitation and presentation
  • Capability of acquiring and analyzing complex statistical data to measure and improve the performance of programs/services
  • Operates autonomously managing multiple projects simultaneously, and impeccable organizational skills while staying on schedule and meeting deadlines
