Job summary

Chiropractic Health Partners LLC is seeking a Group Practice Administrator to lead daily operations for multiple practice locations. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in healthcare administration, with at least 2 years as practice administrator overseeing multiple locations.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations; CMPE designation is a plus.

Chiropractic Health Partners (CHP) is a Management Services Organization (MSO) that acquires and grows practices by providing its partner physicians with the resources, analytics, and expertise needed to add new service lines, build de novo locations, recruit additional providers, improve marketing and optimize processes. We enable our chiropractic doctors and providers to focus on patient care while we focus on managing the business aspects of their practice. The organization continues to grow rapidly through its acquisition strategies and growth initiatives.

Private equity company, The Brydon Group (www.brydon.com), invested in CHP in July 2023, recognizing the need for larger players in this highly fragmented market. The Brydon Group invests in healthcare services, Business to Business (B2B), Business to Government (B2G) and software services.

Key Aspects of the Role:

Reporting to the VP of Operations/Chief Operating Officer in the absence of the VPO, the Group Practice Administrator for CHP will be a key part of the management team for this fast‑paced, innovative growth company. This high financial acumen operations executive will lead assigned practice’s daily operations and have full accountability for the practice’s P&L. The leader will work with other MSO executives to lead the assigned practice’s initial strategic plan but will also be tasked to identify additional areas of opportunity and growth and will ensure the practice under his/her leadership operates in a highly efficient and effective way that benefits our employees, doctors, providers, and patients.

Group Practice Administrator Responsibilities:
  • Hold P&L accountability for assigned practice and be responsible for the overall leadership and operation of all the practice’s locations and services
  • Take responsibility for the talent development, retention, hiring, performance management of the practice’s staff
  • Identify opportunities to drive profitability by reviewing, analyzing and addressing gaps in service excellence, policies, and/or procedures proactively; designs solutions, implements, and monitors progress
  • Manage the practice’s operating budget and allocate resources to optimize business results
  • Ensure practice is optimizing revenue cycle management and minimizing billing errors
  • Assist in the development of strategies to drive growth, profitability, and effective allocation of resources
  • Lead and actively participate with the company’s operations team to ensure collaboration and best practice sharing amongst all stakeholders
  • Actively engage to make the practice the employer and partner of choice in the market
  • Improve patient experience and enhance infrastructure by leveraging existing and new technologies
  • Collaborate and strengthen relationships with clinicians to improve practice performance, clinical outcomes and promote excellent patient care
  • Maintain current knowledge regarding community and regional healthcare market and industry issues which may impact business; remains abreast of competitors in his/her assigned region
  • Provide guidance on third party payer contracting opportunities to include fee for service and value based contracts
  • Carry out corporate initiatives through thoughtful change management processes and with perseverance when obstacles arise
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, OSHA, and state healthcare regulations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of CHP’s mission, vision, and values; provides leadership, and adheres to applicable standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, regulatory compliance requirements, confidentiality standards and the code of ethical behavior
  • Other duties necessary in the success of assigned practices and CHP practices as a whole

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare administration, with at least 2 years of experience as a practice administrator overseeing multiple locations
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and OSHA
  • Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) designation from MGMA or other relevant certifications are a plus

This role involves traveling between multiple offices weekly. Home base will be in Owings Mills, MD.
