Job summary

JELD-WEN is seeking a production operations leader in Illinois to manage and implement all production operations and shop activities. You will lead Lead employees and act as a liaison between upper management and hourly staff, ensuring alignment with plant goals.

You will supervise production and support operations, drive team performance, and maintain equipment, facilities, and personnel. The role includes supporting safety initiatives and continuous improvement across production processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree in a related field.
• 1 to 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the window and door industry.
• 5 to 7 years of applicable work experience (if no degree).
• Knowledge of raw materials, preferably for door and window applications.
• Fundamental knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing process improvement techniques.
• Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, technical aptitude, and problem solving skills.
• Strong team skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of JELD-WEN’s Mission Statement and overall corporate goals and objectives.
