Counseling In Schools is looking for a passionate Part-time Group Leader in New York City. This role is vital for the effective operation of school year programs, ensuring a positive environment for children. You will collaborate with Activity Specialists to implement activities supporting social-emotional learning and academic growth.
The ideal candidate will be at least 18 years old, have 2 years of experience working with children under 13, and preferably hold an Associate’s degree. Compensation is $20-$25 per hour based on experience.

CIS is seeking passionate and enthusiastic people to fill the part-time Group Leader position. This role is critical to the successful operation of the CIS school year programs. You will support the Activity Specialist in providing a safe and positive environment for school-age children during opportunities for recreation, learning, interaction, and academic/personal growth. Additionally, you will supervise a consistent group of students, implementing engaging activities and supporting SEL, service learning, and academic enrichment under the direction of the Program Director or Assistant Program Director.

Compensation: $20-$25/hour; commensurate with experience
