Job summary

Fronius USA seeks a Group Leader – Project Support to manage automation projects from kickoff to customer acceptance. You will coordinate with customers, Fronius USA, and Fronius International to develop plans and oversee technical reviews.

The role includes leading scheduling, risk mitigation, and cross‑team collaboration while guiding the Project Support Team. You will travel regularly, including international assignments, and ensure compliance with corporate PM standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Welding Technology, Robotics, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 2+ years of automation, robotics, or project coordination experience.
• Strong project management, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates Fronius USA automation projects from kickoff through customer acceptance.
• Develops and maintains project plans in collaboration with customers, Fronius USA, and Fronius International.
• Participates in technical coordination meetings to support project execution and alignment.
• Serves as the primary customer contact during project execution.
• Coordinates project technical checks, FAT, installation, SAT, final acceptance, and after sales support activities.
• Supports technical reviews, welding trials, project kickoff meetings, and design approval processes.
• Monitors project schedules, risks, scope changes, and critical issues, implementing corrective actions.

SummaryThe Group Leader – Project Support serves as the primary project manager and coordinator for Fronius USA automation projects. This role oversees project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring effective coordination between customers, Fronius USA, and Fronius International.Key responsibilities include managing project schedules, customer approvals, technical reviews, installation activities, commissioning, and final acceptance.
