Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is assisting a leading global automotive manufacturer in Rochester, NY to hire a Global Supply Chain Group Leader I.

You will lead hourly employees and group leaders, drive Lean Manufacturing and Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) initiatives, and coach teams using standardized work methods. You will collaborate with unions and management, support launches, ensure safety and quality, and foster a productive environment while pursuing operational excellence and continuous

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in manufacturing, production, supply chain, or logistics.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, or operational excellence principles.
• Experience managing production schedules, productivity goals, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, coaching, conflict resolution, and team development skills.
• Union experience is a plus.

As a Global Supply Chain Group Leader I, you will be part of the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Operations team supporting production, logistics, and operational leadership functions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a continuous improvement mindset that will align successfully within the organization.
