American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Group Leader support role in the Distribution Center to coordinate workflow and guide Operations Clerks and Merchandisers. You will assist the DC Supervisor to ensure safe, timely and cost-efficient processing and shipping of merchandise.
You will act as a SME across department roles, supervise in the supervisor's absence, and train team members while maintaining high attendance and performance standards.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide support and assistance to the Distribution Center Supervisor by coordinating the workflow within an assigned department and ensuring that merchandise is processed and shipped in a safe, timely, accurate, and cost efficient manner. A Group Leader is required to assist Operations Clerks, Material Handlers and/or Merchandise Processors and must be able to perform the physical requirementsof thesepositions as well as the physical requirements listed below.
