Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Group Lead to support daily warehouse operations and system processes. This role plans and coordinates workflow, ensures proper resource placement, and guarantees timely shipments to meet customer service levels.

The Group Lead will also support other areas at the discretion of the DC Supervisor and/or Shift Manager, with opportunities to train staff and improve processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience supporting multiple warehouse areas.
• 1-3 years of experience operating powered lift equipment.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Detail-oriented; able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are shipped accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and safety practices.
• Train and develop employees; on-the-job and safety training.
• Generate, maintain, and verify data and reports.
• May operate RF unit and/or power lift equipment.
• Coordinate with trucking dispatchers for pick-up schedule changes.
• Inspect equipment before and after use; maintain safety.
• Meet deadlines and maintain high accuracy in work.
