Job summary

Insight Global, on behalf of a leading industrial manufacturing company in the Charleston, SC area, seeks a Value Stream Group Lead to oversee production operations and safety initiatives.

You will lead up to 20 production team members, drive continuous improvement, manage labor and coordination of startups/shutdowns, and partner with plant leadership to achieve operational objectives in a 12-hour DuPont rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 4+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading production teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong safety-focused mindset.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour day/night DuPont schedule.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• ERP experience preferred; Oracle experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations while maintaining a strong safety culture
• Supervise, coach, and develop up to 20 production team members
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
• Manage labor allocation and shift scheduling
• Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers
• Investigate incidents and conduct root cause analyses
• Address production and quality issues in a timely manner

Full-Time, Permanent

Insight Global is seeking a Value Stream Group Lead to oversee production operations, safety initiatives, employee development, and continuous improvement efforts within a high-performing manufacturing environment. This individual will lead a team of production employees, drive operational excellence, and help ensure safe, efficient, and quality-focused operations.

Schedule

This position operates on a DuPont rotating schedule, consisting of 12-hour shifts that rotate between days and nights.

• Week 1: 4 day shifts
• Week 2: 3 night shifts
• Week 3: 4 day shifts
• Week 4: 3 night shifts
• Followed by a week off

Shifts rotate weekly between:

• 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

This schedule provides built-in extended time off throughout the month while supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations.
