Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist production supervisor in managing personnel and schedules.
• Assist supervisor in budgeting for materials, manpower, equipment, and outside costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, attendance, and company policies.
• Direct work assignments per supervisor's instructions.
• Help meet departmental work schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and report safety issues.
• Perform supervisory duties for temporary periods.
• Resolve production issues and suggest improvements.
• Monitor absentee records, labor reporting, and overtime approvals.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping.
• Pursue further education in supervisory management and leadership.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Oversee accurate inventory in their area.
• Handle miscellaneous duties as required.
