Job summary

Assured Care in Minnesota is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our expanding team in a residential care home setting. You will work directly with residents to provide personal care, meals, mobility support and daily living activities, in a warm, respectful environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of healthcare or in-home care experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and the ability to work nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care is preferred.
• Willingness to complete TB testing and health screening after offer.
• Available to work nights and/or weekends.
• Reliable transportation every day.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for residents (showering, dressing, etc.).
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Assist with mobility and transportation to appointments.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Complete client shopping or accompany to shops.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report incidents and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Support daily living activities, including meal service.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Reliable transportation every single day.
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner,
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year). Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver.
• Willingness to complete post-offer TB testing and health screening.
