Job summary

Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville, IN seeks a dedicated Direct Care Staff member to assist clients with personal care, daily living skills, and medical needs. • Maintain availability to assist with after-hours support and call-ins.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Provide outstanding care to all clients by assisting with personal care, medical care, and daily living skills.
• Develop meaningful relationships with all Direct Care Staff and build retention strategies to support staff members.
• Support Group Home Manager by participating in Group Home administration duties, such as assisting with financial statements, maintaining medical equipment, and assisting with client doctor appointments.
• Have fun planning and participating in our client's favorite activities and going on outings in the community!
• Maintain availability to assist with after-hours support and call- ins.

Additionally, you will support both our clients by providing direct care, including assisting with personal hygiene and hands-on care, and our direct care staff by assisting with the day-to-day operations within the group home . WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO EASTERSEALS:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or a degree or certificate in a related field.
