Job summary

Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services is seeking a dedicated team member for the 2nd shift to assist in all aspects of facility operations and staff supervision.

You will train staff, evaluate performance, and help with daily living activities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, while adhering to SOPs and coordinating with other agencies. A valid driver’s license and drug-free workplace are required.

Qualifications

• M1: High school diploma or equivalent.
• M2: Two years of documented experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• M3: Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assists in all aspects of facility operations and staff supervision.
• Trains staff; conducts performance evaluations and discipline.
• Develops and monitors training programs and work schedules.
• Liaises with other agencies and coordinates daily living activities for individuals.

2nd Shift

Rotation Schedule/Off every other weekend

Responsibilities

Assists in all aspects of facility operations; staff training and supervision including selection, performance evaluations, and discipline; gathering of baseline data; assessment, development, and implementation of individual training programs; development and monitoring of work schedules to ensure appropriate coverage at all times; liaison with other agencies; ordering and maintaining food and facility supplies; and participation in activities of daily living as scheduled for individuals. Applies generally prescribed standard practices over a wide range of procedures with some latitude for decision making. Functions without direct oversight in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• M1: High school diploma or equivalent
• M2: Minimum of two years of documented experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or other developmental disabilities
• M3: Valid drivers license with safe driving record

Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE

$41,814 - $72,347
