Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Group Supervisor for its fulfillment center in a closed-door pharmacy setting. You will lead, mentor, and coach teammates, impacting patient outcomes and fostering a culture of excellence amid advanced automation.

The role typically operates on the second shift, roughly 2:30 PM–12:30 AM, four days per week, in a climate-controlled facility. You will build relationships across diverse teams, ensure compliance with HIPAA and company policies, and drive performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or high school diploma/GED with 4+ years in fulfillment/logistics.
• Pharmacy Technician license or national certification within state mandated timeline; PTCB within 12 months.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing resolution strategies.
• Experience delivering customer service to internal and external customers meeting quality standards.
• Experience building relationships within a team, coaching, mentoring and training staff.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Resolves and/or provides technical advice on complex or critical issues.
• Determines and initiates appropriate resolution for escalations. Reports issues/concern, when appropriate.
• Supervises daily activities of all team members for scheduled shift and provides feedback and coaching of team members according to quality standards.
• Responsible for coaching and developing team members and leads.
• Conducts performance reviews with team members, identifies opportunities for development, and recommends sustainable solutions to achieve necessary results.
• Continues to look for ways to improve current processes with enhancements and ideas. Makes recommendations on process improvements.
• Maintains working relationships and cooperates actively with all levels and areas of management to ensure that the objectives of the department and company are met.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as company and facility policies and procedures. Maintains standards of performance in accordance with policies and procedures (e.g., HIPAA guidelines/regulations, insurance, and fraud abuse guidelines, required productivity levels, timeliness expectations, etc.).
