Job summary

Moniepoint is seeking a Senior Group FP&A leader to design and own a unified Group FP&A framework across Nigeria, Kenya, MonieWorld, and Moniepoint Technologies. The role consolidates forecasts and reporting for multiple entities and currencies, with a strong emphasis on cross-country governance and standardization.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and investor-grade reporting, partnering with BU CFOs and the Group Financial Controller, while maintaining rigorous modelling and KPI

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking.
• Proven consolidation of multi-entity, multi-currency forecasts and management accounts.
• Background in banking, fintech, or another regulated, fast-growth environment.
• Advanced financial modelling skills (Excel at architect level).
• Proven ability to operate remotely as a senior finance leader across time zones and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the Group FP&A framework: forecasting architecture, budget process, and reporting standards.
• Consolidate entity and BU forecasts into a single Group P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow with currency toggle.
• Own the annual Group budget calendar and process, with Board involvement but not overwriting local teams.
• Produce the consolidated Group forecast (2026–28) reconciled monthly to actuals with variance explanations.
• Collaborate with Group Financial Controller to ensure monthly reconciliations and closures align.
• Lead monthly/quarterly Group reporting cycles: consolidated accounts, Board packs, investor-grade reporting.
• Build and maintain the Group KPI and unit-economics framework across all entities.
• Partner with BU CFOs as standard-setter and consolidator, leaving day-to-day execution to local teams.
• Lead scenario and sensitivity modelling for Group-level strategic decisions.
• Set and enforce FP&A standards across the Group.
• Manage and develop the Group FP&A Analysts and shared services.
