Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) to lead high-quality group exercise classes, promote healthy lifestyles, and enhance member satisfaction at our clubs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fitness, possess strong leadership and communication skills, and create an energetic, motivating environment for members of all fitness levels.

You will collaborate with other instructors and club staff to build community, drive engagement, and support club success,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Previous experience teaching group exercise classes.
• Strong knowledge of exercise science, programming, and proper technique.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and engage groups in a dynamic fitness environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and commitment to member experience.
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of group fitness classes in a safe, effective, and motivating manner.
• Design and deliver workouts for participants of varying fitness levels and abilities.
• Provide proper instruction, modifications, and progressions to ensure safety and success.
• Demonstrate correct exercise techniques and monitor participants for safe movement.
• Maintain energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism throughout all classes.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment for all members and guests.
• Promote group fitness offerings, events, and training programs.
• Attend team meetings and continuing education sessions.
