VASA Fitness in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) to lead dynamic classes and uplift members through engaging workouts and community energy.

The role requires strong fitness knowledge, certifications, and the ability to create inclusive classes for varied fitness levels. Work is performed in a gym setting with flexible hours and opportunities to contribute to a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of experience in personal training, small group training, and/or group fitness training.
• NCCA-accredited Personal Training or Group Fitness Certification.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Yoga Certification (200 or 500 Hour RYT).
• Cycle Certifications (Schwinn, Spinning, Beatboss, AFAA Indoor Cycling).
• Promotes an upbeat, enthusiastic, high-energy environment.
• Experience in leading, coaching, or teaching in front of groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional fitness experience in every class and embody VASA's UPLIFT values.
• Ensure the Vasa Uplift Member Experience (VUME) is executed in every class.
• Be punctual and prepared; greet members at the door on time.
• Demonstrate exercises safely and monitor class performance.
• Post-class cleaning, sanitizing, and organization to maintain a safe space.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to member needs promptly.
• Teach clear, safe, and effective classes with options for all fitness levels.
