Job summary

YWCA Central Carolinas is seeking a part-time Group Exercise Instructor for the Park Road location in Charlotte. You will lead water aerobics and land-based classes, ensuring safety, planning routines, and delivering quality instruction to diverse members.

Required certifications (ACE/ACSM/AFAA) and CPR/AED/First Aid are mandatory; HS diploma or GED is required with at least one year of teaching experience preferred. Salary ranges from $25 to $33 per hour with benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Instructor certification through ACE, ACSM, AFAA or other recognized organization.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Instruct group exercise classes safely and effectively.
• Develop and adapt class plans for diverse participants.
• Maintain equipment and prepare instructional areas for each class.
• Provide high quality customer service and communicate with members and families.
