Job summary

Valley of the Sun YMCA in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a part-time Personal Trainer to deliver health and wellness classes and support families with resources through Community Health Workers. Responsibilities include leading fitness sessions and helping members achieve their goals with positive coaching.

Qualifications include minimum 18 years old, ability to motivate, enjoyment of teaching, YMCA PT instructor or equivalent, and accredited certification (ACSM/ACE/NSCA/NASM).

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18.
• Ability to motivate others.
• Must enjoy teaching others.
• YMCA Personal Training Instructor or equivalent.
• Accredited personal trainer certification (ACSH- American College of Sports Medicine, ACE- American Council on Exercise, NSCA- National Strength and Conditioning Association, NASM- National Academy of Sports Medicine).

Responsibilities

• Motivate and lead members through enjoyable exercise programs developed for their needs.
• Help members to set and reach their fitness goals through positive interactions, each session.
