Onboarding completes before teaching, with ongoing training and feedback to fuel growth. A current national certification and ongoing education are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and build rapport with others.
• Organized self-starter with problem solving and multitasking skills.
• Ability to operate basic Audio/Visual equipment.
• Excellent team-based communication with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback.
• Ability to motivate a large group while providing cueing to all fitness levels.
• Fitness professional with current certification after 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport and a sense of community with members by maintaining a consistent coaching schedule and providing safe, motivating sessions.
• Deliver classes within Chuze guidelines, arriving prepared with equipment and music while following licensing requirements.
• Complete onboarding and training materials before teaching live sessions and stay updated on changes.
• Maintain cleanliness standards during and after sessions and ensure gym presentation remains exceptionally clean.
• Grow through feedback from the Fitness Manager via regular check-ins, training, and evaluations.
• Pursue ongoing fitness industry education and maintain proof of current credentials.
• Maintain professional relationships through communication and teamwork with all Chuze staff to meet member and facility needs.
• Attend and participate in Fitness department meetings and promotional events to promote participation.
• Use the Fitness Communication Platform for essential department communications.
