Job summary

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and certification in Group Fitness (ASFA within 6 months) and AED/CPR within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Group Fitness certification through ASFA within six months of hire.
• Certification in AED/CPR within thirty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides a safe and fun environment for participants.
• Promotes knowledge of proper group fitness components (warm up, aerobic exercise, flexibility, cool down).
• Knowledgeable in techniques and dynamics of group fitness; capable across a variety of classes.
• Provides customer service to patrons.
• Familiar with Health and Wellness Center policies.
• Communicates class changes and/or cancellations to the Group Fitness Coordinator.
• Strives to meet class attendance quotas.
