WH Wheeling Hospital Inc. is seeking a Part-time Group Fitness Instructor to lead classes for all fitness levels at the Health and Wellness Center in Wheeling, WV.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a Group Fitness certification within six months, and AED/CPR certification within thirty days of hire. Responsibilities include organizing choreography, maintaining safety, communicating class changes, and meeting attendance quotas while delivering excellent customer service to patrons

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and fun environment for participants.
  • Teach group fitness classes across various levels and formats.
  • Promote proper group fitness components: warm-up, cardio, strength, flexibility, cool down.
  • Provide excellent customer service to participants and staff.
  • Follow Health and Wellness Center policies and class changes/cancellations communicated by the Group Fitness Coordinator.
  • Meet class attendance quotas as scheduled.

This includes organizing choreography, attending scheduled Group Fitness meetings and teaching classes as scheduled.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS****:****EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:**1. High school diploma or GED. 2. Obtain Group Fitness certification through the American Sports & Fitness Association (ASFA) within six (6) months of hire.3.
