Job summary

Arch Amenities Group is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to deliver engaging, educational, and safe group fitness classes for a diverse participant base. You will foster a motivating environment aligned with Arch's standards and wellness programming.

Responsibilities include welcoming participants, providing modifications, staying current with fitness trends, and maintaining class safety and equipment. This role requires a motivating presence and dependable, professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Certification from a nationally accredited organization is required.
• Educational background in Physical Education, Exercise Science, Health Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Current CPR and Standard First Aid certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and effective exercise environment for all participants.
• Arrive early to class to welcome participants and prepare the workout space.
• Be professionally dressed with music cued and routine prepared before class.
• Greet participants by name and build rapport.
• Offer modifications for all fitness levels and abilities.
• Teach classes with enthusiasm, energy, and clarity.
• Share educational and fitness-related content to enhance knowledge.
• Monitor class for safety, form, and engagement.
• Stay up to date on fitness trends and safety protocols.
• Begin and end classes on time and maintain space cleanliness.
• Report equipment or facility issues to management.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
