Job summary

YMCA of Honolulu is seeking a dedicated Group Exercise Instructor to lead classes at the Kalihi YMCA. You will deliver safe workouts, uphold YMCA standards, and engage with members as a friendly representative.

Under supervision of the Group Exercise Coordinator or Healthy Lifestyles Director, you will schedule and adjust classes, build member relationships, and support the YMCA mission during each session.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of designing, conducting, and implementing safe group exercise classes.
• Knowledge of general health and wellness.
• Experience in health/fitness field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned class(es) or ensures coverage on schedule.
• Conducts safe, effective and fun exercise classes per guidelines.
• Communicates with members about Group Exercise programs.
