Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a group fitness instructor in a fitness studio, luxury resort, or wellness environment.
• Current nationally recognized group fitness certification (e.g., ACE, AFAA, NASM, or equivalent).
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to safely lead a variety of group fitness classes (e.g., Yoga, Pilates, HIIT, strength training, barre, stretching, mediation).
• Strong understanding of exercise form, anatomy, and safe movement principles.

We are seeking a Group Fitness Instructorto join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.

Role Summary:

The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for delivering engaging, safe, and high-quality group exercise experiences for resort and members of Eau Spa & Fitness. This role includes leading scheduled group fitness classes, supporting wellness programming, and ensuring an elevated, energetic, and personalized experience consistent with Forbes Five-Star service standards. The Group Fitness Instructor plays a key role in promoting health, wellness, and guest engagement through dynamic offerings and professional instruction.

We have an On-Call position available.

All candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays and evenings.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a group fitness instructor in a fitness studio, luxury resort, or wellness environment.


• Current nationally recognized group fitness certification (e.g., ACE, AFAA, NASM, or equivalent).


• CPR and First Aid certification required.


• Ability to safely lead a variety of group fitness classes (e.g., Yoga, Pilates, HIIT, strength training, barre, stretching, mediation).


• Strong understanding of exercise form, anatomy, and safe movement principles.


• Excellent communication and public speaking skills with the ability to engage and motivate groups of varying fitness levels.


• High level of energy, professionalism, and guest engagement.


• Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.


• Ability to maintain guest confidentiality and handle sensitive health-related information properly.


• Previous experience working in AAA, Five-Diamond, Forbes Five-Star property.


• Specialty certification (Yoga, Pilates, Barre, Spin, TRX, or similar).


• Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.


• Experience working with luxury clientele and resort wellness programs.


• Must be able to build rapport with guests.


• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.


• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
