Job summary

The Boca Raton is seeking a temporary Yoga Instructor to lead group classes, workshops, and private sessions in Boca Raton, FL. The ideal candidate will create an inclusive, motivating atmosphere while ensuring safety and proper technique.

Responsibilities include planning sessions, demonstrating techniques, adapting for all fitness levels, and staying current with trends and certifications. CPR/First Aid is preferred. Reports to the Director of Fitness.

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a Yoga certification (200hr+).
• Experience leading group classes, workshops and private sessions.
• Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, safety guidelines, and anatomy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to energize and motivate groups of all fitness levels.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Summary

Essential Functions

Job duties include, although are not limited to:

• Plan and lead group fitness classes, workshops, and private sessions.
• Demonstrate proper techniques and provide modifications for various fitness levels.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to energize and motivate groups of all fitness levels.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).

Physical Requirements

Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. It requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.
