Position Overview

We are looking for a Group Fitness Instructor who is passionate about building a positive group fitness experience for club members.

What You’ll Do

Deliver a superior group exercise class and fitness experience, help members reach their goals, and support club culture through teamwork and continuous learning.

• Delivers high-energy, inclusive classes that members love, consistently hitting format standards while adding personal flair to boost attendance and retention.
• Builds genuine member relationships—learning names, goals, and preferences—to keep them motivated and connected to their fitness journey.
• Creates a fun, professional experience from warm‑up to cool‑down, showing up prepared and on time and owning performance for every class.
• Communicates reliably with leadership, supports club culture through teamwork, and continuously grows via training while embodying the Undefeated Tribe values.

Responsibilities

• Deliver motivational instruction during the member Class‑ic Group Fitness experience.
• Help members achieve their goals on their fitness journey.
• Respond to member questions and concerns regarding group fitness classes with care.
• Track class attendance numbers accurately.
• Engage with weekly emails and monthly Zoom meetings.
• Attend quarterly staff meetings for on‑site training and new quarter class rollouts.
• Participate in the instructor portal and manage social media updates and brand promotions.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels (e.g., bootcamp, kickboxing, Zumba, TRX, sculpt, yoga, Pilates, cycle, POUND, HIIT).
• Nationally accredited Group Fitness Certification required (AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred).
• CPR/AED certification required (to be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to create a high‑energy class environment.
• Strong communication skills and customer‑service orientation.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Physical effort required: prolonged standing and walking.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

Compensation (hourly)

• Admin rate: $12.00
• Class rate: $23.00 - $30.00
