Position Overview

We are looking for a Group Fitness Instructor who is passionate about becoming a part of our club members' fitness journey and providing a great group fitness class experience.

What You’ll Do

As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will deliver a superior group exercise class and fitness experience, building genuine member relationships, and supporting the club culture.

• Delivers high-energy, inclusive classes members love, consistently hitting format standards and adding personal flair.
• Builds genuine member relationships—learning names, goals, and preferences—to keep them motivated.
• Creates a fun, professional experience from warm‑up to cool‑down, showing up prepared/on‑time and owning performance every class.
• Communicates reliably with leadership, supports club culture through teamwork, and continuously grows via training while embodying the Undefeated Tribe values.

You are optimistic, open minded, and unselfish. Relationships, both personal and professional, are extremely important to you. You prefer to delegate tough decisions to others and thrive in customer service roles where your people and sales skills can shine.

Responsibilities

• Deliver motivational instruction during the member Class-ic Group Fitness experience.
• Help members achieve their goals on their fitness journey.
• Respond with care to any member issues concerning group fitness classes.
• Assist with accurately tracking class attendance numbers.
• Participate and engage with weekly emails and monthly ZOOMs.
• Attend the quarterly staff meeting for onsite training and new quarter class roll out.
• Be involved with the instructor portal and social media for updates and brand promotions.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels (bootcamp, kickboxing, Zumba, TRX, sculpt, yoga, Pilates, cycle, POUND, HIIT).
• Nationally accredited Group Fitness Certification required (AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred).
• CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to provide a high‑energy class environment.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Physical effort required for daily duties includes prolonged standing and walking.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
