Job summary

RSG Group in California is seeking a Group Fitness Manager to lead a 30+ member team and drive exceptional member experiences across six studios. The role requires dynamic leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on coaching to maintain the highest standards of service.

You will recruit, train, schedule, manage payroll, and ensure facility upkeep while achieving class utilization targets and budget goals. This position offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of fitness management with 30+ team members.
• Degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred.
• Proficient in POS, CRM, timekeeping and scheduling software.
• Cross-functional collaboration across departments is preferred.
• CPR/AED certification current or obtainable.
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop group fitness staff and programming.
• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and evaluate instructors.
• Maintain studio facilities and ensure high member participation.
• Monitor payroll and expenses to stay within budget.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Act as a duty manager when required.
