Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a Group Fitness Program Manager to oversee all aspects of the Group Fitness program at a designated location, including hiring, recruiting, scheduling and training new staff.

You will work with the Director of Group Fitness and other coordinators to grow class participation, maintain equipment and rooms, promote classes, and ensure safe, high‑quality instruction and member engagement.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CPR certification or obtain within 60 days of start date.
• Certification by a recognized national body (ACE, ASCM, NSCA, MOSSA or equivalent).
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Group Fitness program for a designated Genesis location, including hiring, recruiting, scheduling and training new Group Fitness Staff.
• Work with the Director of Group Fitness and other coordinators to grow the success of Group Fitness.
• Train all group fitness instructors to teach safe and effective classes.
• Organize and schedule all group fitness classes; maintain rooms and equipment storage areas.
• Promote all classes and events internally and externally.
• Prepare and discuss weekly aerobic reports with Club Manager.
• Attend staff and club meetings and develop professional member relationships.
