Job summary

Core Development and Management-Planet Fitness seeks a Fitness Trainer to lead the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF). You will design simple workout plans and coach members on equipment use to help achieve fitness goals.

You will conduct PE@PF sessions, meet club needs, assist at front desk, sign up new members, give tours, and respond to member questions with professionalism. CPR and training certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified to work in a fitness environment with CPR certification.
• Customer service oriented with a friendly, professional manner.
• Able to communicate clearly with members and staff.
• Demonstrates reliability and punctuality.
• Interest in promoting fitness and member goals.
• Willing to lead safe, guided fitness sessions.
• Compliance with certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and run the PE@PF fitness program schedule.
• Instruct members on proper and safe equipment use.
• Create bi-weekly exercise updates with varied routines.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and traffic.
• Assist front desk tasks and member check-in.
• Sign up new members and give tours.
• Address member questions professionally and escalate when needed.
