Job summary

Core Development and Management-Planet Fitness is seeking a Fitness Trainer to lead the PE@PF program and guide members toward their fitness goals. You will design simple workouts and instruct proper equipment use to help new members achieve their goals on a friendly, inclusive basis.

The role combines program leadership with front desk responsibilities, including check-ins, member tours, and answering questions with a professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Exceptional customer service, professional interactions with members and coworkers.
• Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program and maintain its schedule.
• Consult with members to assess fitness goals and teach safe equipment use.
• Create bi-weekly exercise updates with diverse workouts.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist at the front desk with calls, sign-ins, memberships, and tours.
• Respond to member questions and escalate to management when needed.
