Job summary

Houston Fitness Partners is seeking an energetic Fitness Instructor to lead Planet Fitness group classes and assist members with check-in, tours, and questions. You will help design simple workouts, enforce safety, and maintain a welcoming, supportive environment across Houston locations.

Compensation is hourly ($12–$14) with benefits for full-time staff, opportunities for growth, and a commitment to CPR/AED certification and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum customer service experience; 6–12 months preferred in fitness instruction.
• Must be punctual, dependable with solid work ethic.
• Basic computer skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified before employment and maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Design simple workout programs and lead Planet Fitness PE@PF classes.
• Greet and assist members and guests at check-in, sign-ups, and questions.
• Maintain safe workout environment and monitor participant progress.
• Conduct tours for prospective members and assess fitness needs.
• Perform regular cleaning and sanitizing of club and equipment during shift.
• Subject to work at any Planet Fitness location within the Houston Fitness Partners chain.
