Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Fitness Instructor to join our Houston area team. This part-time role will lead group fitness sessions, design basic workouts, and help members with check-ins and program progression.

Hourly pay ranges from $12 to $14 per hour. Candidates must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and be CPR/AED certified with a Nationally Certified Training certificate. Training and growth opportunities are available within Houston Fitness Partners locations.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and member interaction skills.
• 1 year of fitness instruction experience preferred.
• Self-starter with initiative and dependable work ethic.
• Basic computer skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Planet Fitness group fitness program PE@PF and design simple workouts.
• Greet members and assist with check-ins, sign-ups, and inquiries.
• Maintain a safe workout environment and monitor safety at all times.
• Evaluate participants' abilities and tailor training programs as needed.
• Monitor progress and adjust programs accordingly.
• Assist callers with information and conduct member tours.
• Regularly clean and sanitize equipment and facilities during shift.
• Work at any Planet Fitness location within Houston Fitness Partners.
