Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a dynamic Fitness Trainer for our Marietta, OH club to help members achieve their goals with energetic coaching and safe, effective workouts. You will drive the Planet Fitness group program PE@PF, design simple workouts for all ages and skill levels, and build confidence in using equipment.

You will maintain equipment, ensure the club is clean, and promote a judgement-free environment while focusing on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• National training certifications such as ACE, NASM, ISSA, ACSM, or NSCA are preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate proper use of fitness equipment.
• 1–3 years in health and wellness field.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• Studies in Kinesiology or Exercise Science.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support fitness classes and personal training sessions.
• Design simple workout programs for all ages and skill levels.
• Maintain equipment and ensure club cleanliness.
• Promote safe, judgement-free gym policies.
• Encourage member engagement and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
