Job summary

24 Hour Fitness is seeking a Group X Coach at our Kent, WA club to deliver engaging group exercise sessions in person or through virtual platforms. You will create an inviting, inspiring environment and motivate members across varying fitness levels.

You will maintain high-quality instruction, ensure safety, and drive class attendance while providing exceptional customer service and representing the club’s standards. Weekend availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe exercise techniques and principles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect with a wide variety of people.
• Enthusiastic and energetic approach to creating a community feel within a group session or class.
• Passion for fitness and helping others achieve health and wellness goals.

Responsibilities

• Coach group sessions and classes to members in person or via virtual technology.
• Present sessions welcoming, encouraged and challenged for all fitness levels.
• Ensure safety and educate on techniques and guidelines during sessions.
• Increase member attendance through strong teaching and motivation.
• Maintain an average of coaching at least 2 classes per week.
• Deliver exceptional customer service before and after group sessions.
• Handle member concerns or refer to club management.
• Keep group sessions organized and on schedule.
